 Day 1: Arrival & Welcome to Uganda

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Harambee guide. After a short briefing, transfer to your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe for relaxation and overnight stay as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After an early breakfast, depart for Murchison Falls National Park. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the only place in Uganda to see rhinos in the wild. Enjoy a guided walking safari that allows you to track white rhinos at close range and thrilling experience.

 Day 3: Game Drive & Boat Cruise on the Nile

Start your day with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile. Look out for elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes, and various antelope species.

In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls. This cruise offers incredible views of hippos, crocodiles, and birds along the riverbanks. The highlight is approaching the base of the falls, where you witness the power of the Nile up close. Return to your lodge for relaxation.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park

and journey south to Kibale National Park. This is a long but scenic drive through rural Uganda, offering glimpses of local life and landscapes. Arrive in the evening, check in at your lodge, and rest and later visit Bigodi Community for coffee and banana Experience. This introduces visitors to authentic Ugandan village life. Travelers learn how coffee is grown, roasted, and brewed using traditional methods, with hands-on participation. The banana experience showcases how locals prepare matoke and other banana-based foods and drinks. Guests also interact with community members, visit homesteads, and enjoy cultural performances. Often combined with a walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, hence blending culture, nature, and community engagement. Overnight at your lodge.

Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Wetland

After breakfast, head to Kibale Forest headquarters for a briefing before setting off to track chimpanzees. Kibale is home to one of the highest densities of primates in Africa.

During the trek, you will observe chimpanzees feeding, grooming, and communicating in their natural habitat. In the afternoon, visit Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary for a guided walk, known for its rich birdlife and community-based tourism. Return to your lodge for dinner.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Depart Kibale and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying views of crater lakes and the Rwenzori Mountains. After lunch, take an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, famous for its dense concentration of hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and birds

Day 7: Game Drive & Transfer to Ishasha Sector

Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, where lions, elephants, buffaloes, and antelopes are commonly seen. Afterward, transfer to the Ishasha sector, famous for its rare tree-climbing lions. In the afternoon, search for these lions lounging in fig trees—a truly unique wildlife spectacle.

Day 8: Ishasha to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After a morning game drive in Ishasha, proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes you through scenic highlands with terraced hills and rural villages. Arrive at your lodge near the forest, check in, and relax.

 Day 9: Gorilla Trekking Experience

After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. Begin your trek into the dense rainforest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek can take 1–6 hours depending on the gorillas’ location. Once found, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing them. Watch the silverback’s dominance, playful juveniles, and nurturing mothers—an emotional and humbling experience.

Return to the lodge for relaxation. Optional cultural experiences with the Batwa community are available.

Day 10: Return to Entebbe & Departure

After breakfast, begin your journey back to Entebbe. Enjoy lunch en route and a possible stop at the Equator for photos and souvenirs. Arrive in the late afternoon or evening and transfer to the airport for departure.
