7 Day Gorilla Chimpanzee and Savannah Safari

DAY 1

Arrive in Uganda and begin your journey toward Kibale National Park. Travel through vibrant countryside, tea plantations, and rolling hills with views of the Rwenzori Mountains. Settle into your lodge surrounded by nature and prepare for the adventure ahead.

Day 1 — Arrival & Journey to Kibale

DAY 2

Day 2 — Chimpanzee Trekking & Wetland Experience

Start your day with chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest, known as the primate capital of East Africa. Track these incredible animals through the forest and observe their natural behaviors up close. In the afternoon, explore Bigodi Wetland for a guided nature walk rich in birdlife and local culture..

DAY 3

Day 3 — Scenic Transfer & Boat Safari

Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, taking in crater lakes and sweeping landscapes along the way. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, where you’ll encounter hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and an abundance of wildlife along the water’s edge.

DAY 4

Head out on an early morning game drive across the savannah in search of lions, elephants, buffalo, and more. Continue to the Ishasha sector, known for its rare tree-climbing lions, and spend the afternoon exploring this unique wildlife region.

Day 4 — Game Drive & Tree-Climbing Lions

Travel through stunning highland scenery as you make your way to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Pass through rural villages and terraced hills before arriving at your lodge nestled at the edge of the forest

Day 5 — Into the Highlands of Bwindi

DAY 6

Experience the highlight of your journey—gorilla trekking in Bwindi. Trek through dense rainforest with expert guides before coming face-to-face with a gorilla family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat before returning to your lodge to relax.

Day 7 — Return & Departure

Enjoy a peaceful morning before beginning your journey back to Entebbe. Take in Uganda’s landscapes one last time with stops along the way, departing with unforgettable memories of your experience.
